reCareered was formed by Phil Rosenberg to help great people break through the problems of modern employment markets.

Phil, a veteran Chicago recruiter and serial entrepreneur, had managed the Chicago suburban Financial and Technology consulting practices for recruiting industry leader, Robert Half International.  While with Robert Half International, Phil helped hundreds of C-Level and senior managers modernize their job search and resume strategies.  He also learned how resume writing and job searches were like a foreign language to many brilliant people.

Phil is an avid networker in the Chicago area and globally (though LinkedIN).  He sponsors networking events, publishes a networking events calendar, and is a committee volunteer for the American Cancer Society of Chicago.

Phil’s prior industry experience includes technology sales, energy consulting, banking, corporate finance and public accounting.

Phil holds an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, a BS in Accountancy from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and earned a CPA certificate in Illinois.
